Lord Vladivus Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Looking good so far- the new one is a great improvement! Quote
Garmadon Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 I agree with the others, that is quite an improvement, especially with the stream and banks I'm looking forward to the completed build Quote
MassEditor Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 Great job, this is really looking good. You've definitely sold me on your use of dark tan, and the water does have a nice shallow look with the light blue rounds. This looks like some first class landscaping, I look forward to the finished product! I have to agree with Gabe though about the source of good landscaping, nature has it's own ways of doing things and it's simply about recreating those on a baseplate. The internal structure technique SK and Gabe mentioned is definitely a key, that and having a ton of earth-tone elements, but otherwise you've got the whole world to use as an example. Quote
mccoyed Posted June 29, 2014 Author Posted June 29, 2014 Thanks, everyone. I think I'll progress with the build, then, and complete it. I'll post it sometime in the next couple of days! Quote
