Sir E Fullner Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I have been in several places and forums all over the internet. And I have discovered that some very big-named books and movies, such as Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Twilight, have fans who often write fan-fictions about the book/movie's own universe. Has anyone ever done this with the vast themes in the LEGO Universe? Please comment and show your views. Always entertaining, always inspiring, always: Quote
MikroMan Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) I know Harry Potter and various teenage-girl books have enormous amounts of fanfiction (matter of fact, Harry Potter FF is one of my guilty pleasures :D ). I believe I've seen some fanfiction pieces on The LEGO Movie at fanfiction.net, but not much in way of quality. That said, TLG's openendedness for themes leaves fans a great potential for fanfiction writing. It is, after all, the very idea of LEGO: Using "generic" components to build something unique and create your own story. Our creations are form one point of view basically fanfiction augmented with MOCs for visualization of the story, especially some ongoing themes such as Guilds of Historica that have their own lore, history and stories.
