badbob001 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I just opened my Haunted House set and found one part of the bushes with a detached branch. I will try to get a replacement from LEGO but I may also want to repair the existing one. I've read that MEK (Methyl ethyl ketone) solvent is good for ABS plastic but I'm not sure if plants are ABS as well since they seem more flexible than the usual bricks. Should I use MEK with this part? Quote
Aanchir Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 If I had to guess, I'd say polypropylene. That's what I believe the softer plastic BIONICLE parts are made of, and the material of those seems about the same as LEGO trees and bushes. Quote
badbob001 Posted June 24, 2014 Author Posted June 24, 2014 What is a good solvent for polypropylene? Should I still use MEK? Quote
