Dr Leg O Brick Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 (edited) Before I start, if this belongs in town, could a MOD move it please. So, what to do with all the spares from my superhero customs, a love for town, and a load of friends who produce strange and questionable minifigs? Make some townsfolk of course! For your enjoyment, any feedback, both good, bad, or something in between is always welcome. Enjoy! Basketball fan, dock worker, motorcyclist, and some guy in a red shirt. A regular redshirt with the cutting edge of mobile technology in Legoland, a florist, another regular citizen, and a suspicious guy in a grey vest and shades. A dog walker, a nutter half dressed in a sombrero, and another basketball fan. Some more regular people, an England football fan, a teenager, and a man and woman who aren't Basketball fans. A definitely not suspicious and certainly not mentally unstable jogger, a beach house owner, another Basketball fan with a red afro (did the mayor get a joblot of these things? Seems like he's handing them out for free...) and another guy in a tie dye shirt and jacket. More regular people, another Basketball fan (no comment), and some other average citizens. Finally, another Basketball fan (aaahhhh!), a few regular people, and a barman at my minifig beach. Hope you like them, up next week, my police force. Edited June 20, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick Quote
Rinzler Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 So. Many. Basketball fans. Loving 'em, Doc. Maybe you could put some of these in a Superheroes MOC. I feel sorry for Some Guy In A Red Shirt from the first pic, we all know what will happen to him soon enough Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 Too true, and I have five more.... Thanks! It's actually the other way round, the Sinister five's (Sandman's in development hell currently) attacking the Bugle and the X-Men are trashing the beach in my city. But rest assured, more Superhero MOCs will be forthcoming. Yep, some guy in a red shirt is currently being loaded onto the back of a coroner's van, ready for a post mortem, though cause of death is pretty obvious. Quote
Rinzler Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Ok, are you using the original Sinister Six, because there are a few characters that can be pulled off easier than Sandy that you could add Vulture Shocker Lizard ASM2 Green Goblin The list goes on and on And why the hell are the X-Men trashing the beach? Reg the ARC Trooper Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Fans of 76ers, Utah Jazz and MInessota in classic jerseys - thats nice! Edited June 22, 2014 by Reg the ARC Trooper Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 Rinzler, I've kind of went for my own style, not all of them have been in the Sinister Six, but, a Spidey villain is a Spidey villain to me. At the moment: Doc Ock Classic Green Goblin Carnage Mysterio Lizard. Sandman and Hydro man are the two I'm working on. I've got a football shirt, some sand bricks for his legs, a clone trooper head and an orange crew cut for Sandy at the moment, and thanks for the suggestions! Why are the X-Men trashing the beach? Graviton moved into the beach house and he's having fun smashing up one of the local super teams! Reg the ARC Trooper, thanks! They're made from spares I acquired when I got some of the older Basketball sets, I don't know the availability in Poland but here's some Brickset links to the sets I got: http://brickset.com/sets/3564-1/NBA-Collectors-#-5 http://brickset.com/sets/3566-1/NBA-Collectors-#-7 Quote
Reg the ARC Trooper Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 They are very nice - legendary streetballer AI, Shaq, Garnett and Malone - bball legends ;] In Poland basketball isnnt popular so its impossible to get those minifigs Quote
Rinzler Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Doc, nice ideas. Did you post Graviton on your Custom Superheroes thread? I would like to see him Quote
Dr Leg O Brick Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Yep, post number 50 at the very bottom of this page (shameless plug for my Marvel figs): http://www.eurobrick...pic=93287&st=25 Between the shapeshifter in a chicken suit and the Destroyer armour. I've since given him an undamaged torso and a cape (update soon). Sorry to go of topic in err, my own topic. Very true Reg, I felt it was a shame to leave those great torsos on one side, I hope someday you get them, as a Basketball fan I'm sure you'd appreciate them. It was nice to see Shaq in the Lego movie as well. Edited June 22, 2014 by Dr Leg O Brick Quote
