Disco86 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 After a long time of building science fiction and Star-Wars I have decided to build a really simple scene from the Hobbit. Maybe there will be some Middleearth-stuff again in the next time. When I recieved my bulk of dark orange leaves I just had to do this scene from the lastest Hobbit movie. The butterflies are digitally added, everything is completly built out of purist lego. Greets Quote
MikroMan Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Stunning photography! Is that supposed to be the Lonely Mountain in the background? You've captured the feelings of the scene very well Quote
Scaevola Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Nice, I like the mountain and clouds in the background Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Return of the Disco! Glad to see your back, Paul! The scene is beautiful and the mountain in the back is great! Hope to see some more! Quote
Lady K Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Very nice! You've done the scene well, looks like the movie. Nice lonely mountain and clouds in the background! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I still have yet to see that movie. They haven't been as good as LOTR (in my opinion), so I haven't been inclined to see it yet. But I do love Middle Earth builds and this seems very fitting from what I can remembe from the trailer. Keep up the great work. Quote
Infernum Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Beautiful photo! Love the digital butterflies! Quote
Balthazar Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Such a beautiful picture! I still have yet to see that movie. They haven't been as good as LOTR (in my opinion), so I haven't been inclined to see it yet. These movies are as cool as LotR, so you can watch it any time without being disappointed. Quote
danyboy2127 Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 beautiful photo. My favorite scene from the movie. Quote
Gary The Procrastinator Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 As I said on FLICKR, a wonderful rendering of this sweeping scene in DoS. Another great work Paul! Quote
