TheUtilityBelt Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 (edited) My warlords phase 1! Durkon the Fierce is one from a Zugal tribe that was destroyed long ago. Bandits had raided it and ever since Durkon has wandered North-western Nocturnus. He has gathered creatures of all kinds to develope his clan. One is his right hand man named Lurtz. No one knows his story or his race. All they know is he has been cursed and must wear rags around his face. He has major skill in strength and mind. Durkon is a sorcerer and does not use a sword or blade. Instead he wields his staff and magic powers. Here he is giving a speech to his minions, but I'm to lazy to write it. And some stands I made to display them. Fig-less Hope you like it! More pics on my flickr! C&C welcome Edited June 14, 2014 by TheUtilityBelt32 Quote
Scaevola Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Cool standard, I like the leaf piece in the back Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 Thanks! Standard mean what? Sorry, I spent to much time daydreaming about Legos in school! Quote
Kai NRG Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Thanks! Standard mean what? Sorry, I spent to much time daydreaming about Legos in school! Colors & their corresponding design pertaining to a nation/group/entity (usually political group/entity), as depicted when flown on cloth. The flag(s), in other words. It does look good, by the way. Gabe Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Here he is giving a speech to his minions, but I'm to lazy to write it. Lol! This build really is all about the minifigs... nice to see individual shots of Durkon (cool staff btw!) and Lurtz, but it'd be good to see a front-on shot of the whole group together as well. Some more brightness to your pics wouldn't hurt either. There's not that much to the landscaping, but i like that you gave Durkon something to stand on to give his (obviously stirring) speech, and the campfire is a nice touch too. Good stuff! Quote
MKJoshA Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I like your figs, but the landscape looks like an after-thought. It would benefit from some wedge plates I think. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Cool vignette, you have some really neat figs there I agree with MKJ about the landscape, some smaller plates to smooth the color transitions would be good Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 Thanks guys! I'll make an updated version... if I'm not procrastinating! Quote
Duvors Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 (edited) Durkon... is that a reference to something? Because it seems like that to me. Nice figs by the way. Edited June 23, 2014 by Lord Duvors Quote
TheUtilityBelt Posted June 23, 2014 Author Posted June 23, 2014 No it's not a reference. That's just his name! Quote
