They found a Malone, whose identity will not be revealed. No need to give scum a roadmap.

Nope, I read that message wrong. The result was "not Malone".

So, we have a lynch that is all but guaranteed today  I won't tell the name yet, because I want to give you folks time to theorise and play. See if the scum who was nabbed tries to distance themselves from other scum, or try to push a lynch on a townie.

Day two is in the bag, and yet again, the scum are filling their diapers up with poop. Because they are scared.

Ok... so speedy I was totaly wrong when it came to voting for you, my sincere apologies for that.

My guess for the lack of a night kill are:

- The feds were blocked

- The target was protected

- They onky have a few kill shots to balance the game

- They have the ability to recruit

Let's hope it is scenario 1. In which case it would be wise to just try and block the same person who was blocked last night.

Well done! This is the first big break and paired with voting patterns could be huge! One question: does not Malone guarantee FBI or could it be a 3rd party?

With 14 people, I don't think it's very likely that they would have the ability to recruit.

The limited kill shots is a possible theory, and it would make sense given the amount of players.

It could be either since we know there may be a 3rd party and it doesn't specifically state which.

There's never a guarantee that there is a third party or not, or that a scum result is third party or scum. I don't know whether or not we actually have a third party this time, though, considering there's only 14 people starting out and a third party would put the total up at 3 killers (assuming scum killer, vigilante, and SK). That's quite a bit for a small game.

Great news... good that you reread

BUt wasn´t it said that there is a possible 3rd party?

Or did I missunderstand.

If there is a 3rd party we don´t yet know anything about it, what is his/hers purpouse in the game.

From the rules on page 1:

or]Third Parties have their own win conditions, which are outlined in their role PMs.

Seems like there is at least a strong possibility for third parties. Either way, finding a not Malone can only be beneficial.

If we don't yet know anything about it, how can we know the purpose? If it's a 3rd party that can't kill, then it would strike me that they're there to mess with us in some other way. Neither option sounds good to me.

As for the lack of kill... I think it's unlikely the Feds can recruit or that they chose not to use their kill. My money's on a block or protection. That said, we absolutely lynch anyone who came up as not Malone. It seems pointless to do anything else.

Also, I noticed that the rules continue to state that vote tallies will not be announced publicly. I take this to mean that Da Shan's action from yesterday does not carry forward. Honestly, I was a bit surprised it carried through the rest of yesterday.

No shit. :sweet: It never offends me when people vote for me like that, but it does make me question their judgment.

The rules always say that, regardless. There were only fourteen of us, so I find a 3rd party to be an unlikely scenario.

The role was a one shot to reveal votes for the rest of a single day. That's how it goes.

Standard rules include a third party, regardless of whether there is one or not. A third party is always possible, but typically not used in these type of games. Considering all these crazy roles like the judge and how the votes can be shared, Lord knows what's here

Gotcha, thanks for clarifying. I've not played here much :classic:

Yea Okay (not ok-ey), I think you are right about that it usually states 3rd party in the rules altough there wouldn´t be any.

But about those roles, it can be that there is other roles like that in this game because if one person has those two then what will the next be!

But I guess there is no point analysing possible roles before they happen!

Ah didn´t see this before, yes good idea.

Now, I understand if the scum are afraid to talk, but why are the townies so quiet? :look:

Where is everybody? Katalina is in bed rest, we already know that, but everybody else seems really quiet as well and it doesn't help.

I mostly want to hear from Abbott and Alan, two people who slipped away somewhat, and see where their thoughts are right now.

Good morning everyone! It sucks that a townie ended up getting lynched last night, but the silver lining appears to be that we have people we can trust and a cop result to vote on.

Considering all these crazy roles like the judge and how the votes can be shared, Lord knows what's here

I agree with this. There are any number of reasons why there was no kill last night, most of which have already been mentioned. It's usually a bad idea to speculate on possible town roles and night actions, so I think we should focus on the cop result today. Furthermore, townies with roles really need to communicate with somebody that they trust: if Da-Shen (Speedy) was the only one with a vote-revealing ability, which is more than likely, then we will have no sudden help during the day to illuminate voting. The scum can now take full advantage of the hidden voting, and unless we townies work together, this game will be a slaughter.

You've only posted once today too, and just then.

So your defence is that someone else did that too? I suppose your next argument will be that you are rubber and they are glue :sceptic:

A question: Does the above statement mean that you personally know who the judge is?

Actually twice( due to the fact of time zone, long day and needing sleep IRL). I wasn't accusing you of anything it just seemed that you had been left of Tiffany's list of people she was interested in hearing thoughts from, that's all.

Also, Benito is scum. He asked me to tell you all. Bizarre that he said so.

I'm not scum, though, so there's that. Just bring it out in thread if you're so sure.

He says he isn't, but scum often say that, don't they?

Benito has been constructing his defence for a half hour now. I informed him of my announcement an hour ago. He has something great to say, apparently.

To clarify, is Benito the confirmed scum from the cop? Or did he just randomly message you claiming to be scum?
