Stanley Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) Hi Just want to share some of my chromed lego (Chrome Plated using a Vacuum plating Process) Edited June 8, 2014 by Stanley Quote
CustomJoe_MD Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Very shinny, good job. Where in the world are you and are you going into biz with this or is it just for fun? We can always use more chrome custom maker in this world. Quote
Stanley Posted June 8, 2014 Author Posted June 8, 2014 (edited) I make all this minifig in china,And i am planning to make some more with other colours (chromed red :-))! :-) Hopefully I can make some money out of this! Edited June 8, 2014 by Stanley Quote
JopieK Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 you are aware that chromebricks is already very well known for this?, so he already has a large number of customers and you are doing exactly the same, so I'm just saying... Quote
CustomJoe_MD Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Jopie, Stanley is in China, CBricks is in Europe, I think the world is big enough for both. And nothing wrong with a bit of competition as long as quality stays high. Also I undestand some people in the USA always had a big expense getting stuff like this from Europe, now they can get it closer to home. WIN-WIN I'd say. To Stanley I say good luck. Quote
Jody Meyer Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I was looking at doing the came here in Canada as well, but for me to expensive, maybe down the road. Stanley, they look great, Good luck to you and maybe see more stuff down the road. Quote
WhiteFang Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Nice and if you are ever going to put it out, I am looking forward to it. I know how complicated can the whole vacuum metalisation process is. Looking forward to see what you are going to do with these. More importantly, I hope the chrome quality will last through medium handling. Quote
Stanley Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 Thx for all your advise ! At the very beginning I just want to own 1 set of chromed lego! But after I order the first chromed gold lego from the internet I change my mind ,I rather get the factoy in China to make it for me!!!But they have MOQ for each order ..... So now I am trying to sell the extra and earn my money back for making some other colour ! Hi Jody just want to give you some advise for a head start ,make sure you use "Vacuum plating Process" for making it otherwise the gold will just keep on comong off during you play with the minifig and thats the reason I choose not to order from the internet! Hi Whitefang I am selling it on B~link ,look for to do bussiness with you! Quote
