jantjeuh Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Well, no point in entering anymore! This is gonna take first place Quote
Erik Leppen Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The rear hatch is a great addition - after all this is Technic and this is a simple yet effective technical function. It's a lovely little model and it's hard to believe it's just 200 parts - it feels like more. Quote
Hrafn Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Beautiful! This is better than most official sets, especially considering how few parts it uses. I like the new tailgate, too. Quote
D3K Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) JunkStyleGio was kind enought to make some brilliant renders of a "posed" LDD model of the hauler for me, take a look at this: For higher resolution pictures with more details, you know, check out the BrickSafe folder Thanks a lot for you help Hans! D3K Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 I love the Lego terrain  Unfortunately, that is not part of the set Quote
N-4K0 Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 If you got parts left up to 200, fill them in the bed and use them as load Quote
D3K Posted July 12, 2014 Author Posted July 12, 2014 If you got parts left up to 200, fill them in the bed and use them as load I'm at exactly 200! I just figured a way to save a piece, thereby allowing a 2x4 Beam bent 90 degrees (blue) to function as a seat! Quote
D3K Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 (edited) I'm really bummed I couldn't make the deadline for the entry, especially since the model was finished long ago, but I wasn't able to make the final promotional- and parts pictures to put in the entry in time... The icing on the cake that for my entry was to be the full instructions I spent a couple of days making: Full instructions availabe HERE, as well as an updated LDD file HERE.. I made some part-saving mods to the LDD file after I made the instructions (particularly in the articulation area) to allow some more details while still staying at exactly 200 parts Will upload it to Rebrickable as soon as I get the chance! I want to give a big congratulations to the winner and runner-ups! Well deserved, truly great models! This contest has been just great, and the level on many entries are easily comparable (and some are even better than) to the official sets released by LEGO! Edited August 12, 2014 by D3K Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I did not notice that you did not enter in time, that is a shame. Nice job on the instructions. Quote
jorgeopesi Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 The only part I don´t like is the weak tandem because I like the sturdy construction but still you had brought three of my points. I like to do instructions like you. Quote
