Hi everyone,

I’m new here and I’d like to present my latest LDD-MOC. EB-Member ER0L pushed me to show it here on EB (thanks again). I hope I can build it this summer/fall with real bricks.

It’s a modular house made out of two different buildings, an old one enhanced by a new modern clinker brick house (inspired by Steven Asbury’s Fire Station http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/385007). I added a carport to the new house, also modular, with a shelter for the dustbins.

On the first floor is in the old building a office room with parquet, maybe for a lawyer, I’m not sure yet. You can go outside to the terrace. In the modern part is a toilet and the staircase to get to the basement and 2nd floor. The glass door to the staircase is also the entrance door to the apartment.

The 2nd floor is open with living-room and a kitchen/dining room separated by white wooden struts. On the balcony is a little table with herbs.

On the 3rd floor is the bedroom with desk and notebook. You can go the small ladder upstairs to the “attic” The bathroom is in the old building with big “rain”-shower, toilet, basin for two and cupboards. From there you can go to the balcony.

Hi, anglophone Canadian here with a quick question: what is a "clinker house"?

A house that clinks

Really nice house, I love the interior, not as cramped as the original modulars, and nicely decorated. The kitchen is great :classic:

Really nice put together house! Cheers. I love the tree, I need to try that, it looks so much better than most, I want to copy it for in front of my Fire Brigade.

Really nice! I like that it's basically an old and a new part and that the backside is very detailled for a modular. The interior looks great, especially the bathroom looks comfy! As others have said: This should be built!

Very nice and smart!

I like the entrance in common for the commercial and the flat.

Very interesting interior design. I like the tree on the walkway.

I like how matching the horizontal grey lines, on the old and the new building.

And the flowers and the tree on the walkway.

Awesome work 'Nightfall'

Love the amount of interior detail you have added. I agree this desperately needs to be made in brick. Very good use of space too!

A very nice, clean design - colourful, yet restrained enough to look good. I can totally understand why ER0L pushed you to post it here. I'd love to see this brick-built!

Looks fantastic, inside and out! Even though there are two distinct styles on the outside, they nevertheless blend seamlessly.

I'm looking forward to seeing this in real bricks!
