Zenerius Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I plan on building a compact Matoran mech that is about the size of a standard hero. However, I can't for the life of me find out how to reinforce the joints. I've tried hydraulic rams, friction joints, and doubling up the joints yet none of my methods work for the size I want. (The matoran is the size of a Metrutoran by the way) Any ideas? Im open to all of your suggestions, but please don't include methods that require the modification of a piece. I'm a purist :/ Quote
WARHEAD Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Tiny pieces of tissue paper stuck at the bottom of sockets work wonders, try it. Quote
TheRedGuy Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 MOAR JOINTZ!!11!! Seriously though, I just use pistons and friction joints. No offense to WARHEAD, but I don't recommend using paper unless you want to risk your pieces breaking. Quote

Been using it for years now without a single sign of damage actually, it's highly effective and requires no modification of parts. But eh, better safe than sorry I guess. Quote
