VintageLegoEra Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Hi Everyone!, After some post about pirate ships ( more coming soon ),,,i built this Awesome set and included with it the Awesome mini set (7936 Level Crossing)....... I can say, the most challenging part was the sticker applying cos you need to take care of: grease and prints marks, dust and exact fit into the brick and i am happy i managed to avoid all these issues! Here are the photos and hope you like it: At the end, it is a very nice set with great details. Only CONS i have is: there should be more containers at least 2...:) I am going to start and build my small Lego city which i will make threads too!...hopefully in couple of months...:) This is for now and stay tuned for my next buildings ;) Regards Edited June 3, 2014 by VintageLegoEra Quote
beartrapper Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I'm really sad to have not purchased this set when it was available at retail pricing. Quote

LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 I totally agree ...this set is a must like the old 7750! ;-) Quote
Redimus Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) I'd love that set, sadly only really got into Lego trains this year. Despite being into British steam I'd actually prefer the Maersk set over the Emerald Knight (mostly because one is a really good L Scale representation, and the other really isn't). VintageLegoEra Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 My Self, in addition to this, i have the 3677 and the new 2014 sets: 60050/51/52. I feel the sets i have are the best released so far ( This is my opinion only ;) Quote
Jorrith Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I only got this when it was allready out of production, but it was 195 euro's well spent. I love this train and next to the red diesel in the 3677 these are my favorite cargo trains. Quote

Jorrith Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 The 60052 isn't doing it for me unfortunatly... Nice set, but the locomotive is a bit short for my taste. Probably will get it and modify it a bit. Quote

detjensrobert Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 SHORT ANSWER: All the lego track gages are the same. LONG ANSWER: All the gages are the same, but different. The 9v and plastic tracks are exactly the same except the 9v has metal on the rail. The 12v and 4.5v i am not so sure about, as i don't have any to test. Quote
