SollX Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) I want to show you my "redneck" chevy truck. I hope i don't offend anybody. And if so, feel free to create a steriotype dutch moc ;) I attached the lxf file. murca.lxf Edited January 18, 2016 by SollX Quote
emilstorm Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 I like it a lot:) I am looking at it on my tiny little phone, but will definedly have a closer look on the big screen later:) Quote
eurotrash Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 (edited) Offended? I can't speak for everyone, but heck no, it's AWESOME! I see Trucks like this - although never in Dark Green, but definitely with the KC lights on the roof - almost on a daily basis. I also like the Chevy logo on the grille. Nice job! emilstorm Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Now looking at the big screen, and it is really quite cool Loving the grill design and how you used the hinge part for the lights on the roof! And i like the "hip" effect you achieved by brick building the front mudguard, in general i kind of hate those Lego mudguard pieces, unless of course it's used with extreme caution Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Just remember like everything else Lego.......it's AWESOME ! Fantastic designing 'SollX'......Brick On LDD On ! Quote
rollermonkey Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Um, why does it have an envelope for the front license plate? Quote
emilstorm Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Um, why does it have an envelope for the front license plate? Maybe the state he lives in only requires a rear license plate, and he loves anything post related :) Quote
CityBuilder Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I think the envelop is supposed to be a confederate flag. It fits the redneck theme. Quote
glendo Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 +1 I think the envelope is an attempt to use the confederate flag. Quote

Faefrost Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 That looks great. Although this is obviously one of them high fulutin wealthy rednecks. Cause all his trucks fenders are the same color. And he has mufflers on his truck. Now dang it all why would ya go an muffle a perfectly good truck? Who wouldn't want to hear that. At least they look big and loud. Wonderful little MOC. Quote
rob-cubed Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I grew up in the south, so this one really hits home for me. Bonfire tailgating... Really nice job. It'd be nice if you made the front grill more... grill-like... but really loving this basic design. If you don't have the neckbead and coonskin cap from the LEGO CMF Wiley Fuse Bot, those parts would be *awesome* as part of your minifigs. Quote
trippybrowneyes Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 This is hilarious because it's true. Well done! Quote
