Lego Shopping in Singapore?

Hello Singaporean users,

I am traveling to Malaysia and Singapore this summer, and am wondering if anyone can recommend stores that sell discontinued Lego... Any suggestions?

there's a page online about shopping in singapore somewhere, but i cannot recall where it is. Look around for the Singapore LUG page, and drive google a little bit and you will find the list of stores to visit.

i've been there twice since my return to lego. There are several lego only stores there, and another place to look is at action figure stores. i spent a day roaming singapore with a list of shops to visit. the TRU stores are usually well stocked as well.

It's not that cheap in singapore. They are just below australian prices.

Singas is cheaper than Malaysia. LL Malaysia is not cheap at all. I've heard there's a sort of monopoly in Malaysia and the importer controls the prices.

I am from Singapore. There is no LEGO brand stores in Singapore, instead you will find a good selection of monobrand stores, which specialised in selling LEGO products. There are many of such stores, located all over Singapore in this tiny city island. You may google and refer to some of these major monobrand stores, such as Bricksworld, Brick Empire, Toyhunt, Secret Chamber, The Brick Shop, My Little Brick Shop and Toy Station. Most of these stores which I have listed, have an online presence and will suggest you to check out the Singapore SRP. LEGO is also widely available, in departmental stores in the city including the giant TRUs where there are LEGO exclusive TRU sets.

In general, Singapore LEGO set prices are 2 times more expensive as compared to US SRP. You are able to gain access to the latest LEGO product. Typically, you need to have store membership to qualify for their 10% discount on regular priced items. Typically, if you are able to happen to be at the right place at the right time, such as Metro Departmental stores, you will be able to enjoy 20% discount during the Great Singapore Sales in the month of June. Just that, I not sure when will that be.

Bring plenty of shade as shelter and water in LEGOLAND Malaysia is extremely hot and humid. Of course, you can buy them in the park as it is not too expensive as compared to other theme parks which I have been to. If you are unsure of how or plan to go, I encourage you to check out WTS Travel agency, located at the Singapore Flyer, where it provide coach transfer and day pass ticket. Check the website to book or enquire further. Of course, if you are adventurous enough, you can attempt to cross the causeway and navigate yourself from there.
