LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)

Cyborg is more and more being shown as a main Justice Leaguer and I'd love a minifigure of him. However he's a Titan to me. He's the next generation of hero with the likes of Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire and Raven. Not this generation.

Hey if we get him in a set (he's being showcased so much I'm thinking we might) we'd still need Starfire and Raven for the Teen Titans. At least the show. :P

Sweet! I hope Greg Cipes does voice work for him. He's done Lego games before, he was Toad in Lego Marvel.

I asked him on Instagram and he told me to "Ask #lego". Of course they gave no response, but I'd say it's pretty likely. Otherwise they could've gone with the New 52 design.

I am positively drooling over Harley. I've been wanting her New 52 appearance as a minifigure for a few weeks now, and her design quite literally hits the nail on the head with the hammer. Since the game is focusing on the new villains' designs (with the appropriate absence of Joker), I hope that we see Harley and Catwoman in a set soon! The heroes have already gotten N52 designs, so the villains would be fantastic! And since Cheetah and the new Wonder Woman are almost certain, more new-style villains would be most welcome.

Ah, good. I'm glad that Harley, and presumably others, get their classic variants as well. Perhaps they'll be "outfits" like Doc Ock and Pepper Potts/Rescue in LEGO Marvel, instead of separate slots. I don't think I like the floppy hat on Harley, though.

Oh dear god...

My dream figure. The Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen are some of my favorite comics. That said this figure is 10x too detailed which means there's no freakin' way we'll get him... I'd freakin' buy that set in a second.... :(

I wonder why some of the characters got the bursting-out-of-the-comic background, and the others are screenshots. Those images used by the last batch (with Harley and Catwoman) looked like CGIs used on the Characters pages of the minisites. Why don't the rest have them?

Not quite, it's more elegant and smaller, though similar. I was expecting this suit, and I'm glad it's in the game.

Since there is a Suit Wheel, I'm guessing only one or two will be available in the levels, and free play will unlock all of them. Part of the level design was discovering the suits in the levels to advance, so I wonder how they'll be unlocked in-level without a physical Signal.

I'm not sure they will have to be unlocked. If they are, I think it'll be story-based, like how you get new gadgets in the Arkham games when you need them, and not like the separate characters. The suit wheel is always available in every level, even in story mode.

I just thought of something. Brainiac is getting publicity as the villain of the game, but what if turns out to be Darkseid? He's confirmed for the sets and the game, and is one of the most threatening DC characters ever. Either he could be orchestrating the plot, or emerge as a greater threat after Brainiac is defeated. I hardly think they'd demote him to an unlockable character with no storyline purpose.

I bet Darkseid will end up in the position similar to Galactus in the Marvel game; where we fight Brainiac/Loki for the majority of the game, and then a larger threat that requires everyone comes at the end (Darkseid/Galactus). I don't remember where I heard this, but I think the JLA and Legion of Doom are said to team up at some point? Not sure.

Or Darkseid is just a major boss battle at some point. No doubt the game will take us to Apokolips anyways.
