8BrickMario Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Honestly, it's a bit far-fetched, but I wouldn't be too surprised (but I would be very pleased) to see a legitimate special-edition 60's Batman set. It might have some vignettes, but be focused on the minifigures. The news keeps rolling in, and I can't wait to see more pics, even though it makes it harder for me to wait till *indeterminate autumn date* to pick it up. Quote

Remember 60s Batmobike in game uses flick fire misiles. Seems like a weried thing to place on in game only model isn't it? Quote

Ashnflash Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I know that in Young Justice the kids would put on the helmet! Maybe the story has something to do with Young Justice because of the characters like Miss Martian and Superboy! Quote

8BrickMario Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) That's really cool. I like the cutscene clips, and I noticed the following: A glimpse of the Invisible Jet and Green Lantern flying into one of the Lantern Worlds The Justice League and the Legion of Doom teaming up Voice actors nailing the spirit and voices for the game, and making me want it ever more. Seriously, TT. You've marketed it enough! Stop it! Or at least pace yourselves, you're showing trailers and reviews every few days now. I'm sure after I return from my 10-day trip (this Friday to Tuesday two weeks from today) I'll have at least three trailers and 20 new characters to catch up on! 8BrickMario Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 This game has to be a contender for "Most popular, loved game pre-release". It's overwhelmingly positive, and we have no idea what bugs or gameplay annoyances might be hiding in the final game. But they will most certainly be worth it. Quote
Piranha Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I really want that Shazam in a set next year. Quote

phanstasm Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 (edited) Thanks to everyone for the great news and pictures! Looks like a fun game! I was just catching up on some SDCC news, and came across an interview with Troy Baker and Dee Bradley Baker on their "Lego Batman 3" voice work. Interestingly, DBB is shown next to a brick-built Brainiac minifigure. Might be both how Brianiac looks in the game and in the winter wave of sets because... #1. In the past, the only time I've seen Lego make brick-built "minifigures" like this is when it's an actual minifigure. Maybe this is a cross-promotional piece for "Lego Batman 3" and when the winter wave is put on exhibition somewhere (like Toy Fair 2015). #2. The statue has no detailing on the legs. If it was just made for the video game and based on a Traveler's Tales design, I'm 100% sure the Traveler's Tales team would have thrown some leg printing in there. Remember, they did that for Brainiac in "Lego Batman 2." Then the leg printing would have been reproduced in the statue. And we know that Lego is fairly stingy with Super Hero leg printing. The Joker1 Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Nice, I expect braniac will have decent printing all over as he is the "big boss" as it were for the 2015 lego stuff. He should be in the biggest set and will likely be on box art and the manuals etc. In other news the release date it currently penciled in for November 11!!! Not long now Article -http://attackofthefanboy.com/news/lego-batman-3-beyond-gotham-release-date-revealed/ LBM2 braniac http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/Brainiac?file=BrainiacBoss.PNG Quote

BrickG Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 There goes our chance of getting a John Stewart minifig. Referring to his hair? Geeze that hair would be so useful. There's been no realistic "flat-top" and I'd love one for a custom Geordi I want to make :P. Quote

I believe this is Dick Grayson. This is the comparison: Oh that would make sense. But now I wonder if Dick will appear in story will he be Nightwing or a spy? Quote
