BearHeart Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 I just purchased a copy of 7093 Skeleton Tower at TRU and the printing on the armor was backwards. The printing was on the back rather than the front and the front was blank. Anyone else had this problem? What can I do about it?? Quote
The Kid Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Try LEGO Customer Service. They're usually really good about it. :-) They'll more than likely send you the proper piece; you can ring or e-mail them. TK Quote
Hinckley Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 My horse barding wasn't printed at all. It is just plain dark blue! Quote
highlandcattle Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 My horse barding wasn't printed at all. It is just plain dark blue! That's a keeper! Quote
wunztwice Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 My horse barding wasn't printed at all. It is just plain dark blue! Wow. In fact, if you don't want to keep it, I'd be happy to take it off your hands in some sort of deal... Quote
Starwars4J Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Well, couldn't you do the same thing with just a small bottle of brasso? You can use that to remove any printing from any piece :-) Quote
Tijn Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 can't you just swap the left and right arm ? the torso piece itself is completely symmetrical... Wow. In fact, if you don't want to keep it, I'd be happy to take it off your hands in some sort of deal... i think i can produce plenty of reverse torso's for you ... tell me about this deal *vader* Quote

Sadly I've heard of more than a few printing errors in this set...more quality control problems :-/ Quote
Asuka Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 Sadly I've heard of more than a few printing errors in this set...more quality control problems :-/ Yep, that sounds really a bit annoying.... :'-( Such a great new line would clearly deserve a better start. Quote

You can use that to remove any printing from any piece :-) No SW4J, you can't! This is truly one of a kind. The bidding starts at $100, do I hear $150? ;-) Yes. I do plan to keep it. I actually like it a lot. I plan to do a review of the set this week so you can see the amazing one of a kind dark blue barding with no pattern! I did however notice with this set the abs being used is of a different quality, the slopes are smooth and the LEGO logo embedded in the studs is less sharp. Even a 1 x 2 brick looks and feels different. Almost like the pearl colors but definitely more like a-dare I say-MegaCrapBlok! Quality Problems On Off! Quote
iamded Posted May 26, 2007 Posted May 26, 2007 I'm confused. *wacko* I think he was talking about the printing on the armour piece, not the torso. The front and back of the armour are different shapes. Quote

I was talking about the armour. Nowhere in my post did I ever mention anything about a torso (which are blank to begin with) :-| :-| :-| My horse barding wasn't printed at all.
