Lightningtiger, I always feel a homely feel about your layouts :classic:

Thanks 'Spud The Viking' for your kind comment.

Sadly due the lack of cash the mega build to join this project is another week off starting......but please keep watching.

Good to see an update of all New Mannum, LT. I just wonder if the man with the big red had next to Foodland took a wrong leftturn somewhere...

I just realized that the buildings are mainly white. Is that normal for Australian towns?

Of the two kinds of silos, I would choose the first ones... I think.

Thanks 'Iaka' and 'monsinjor' for your feedback......I'm always grateful to you both.

Actually......yes, many structures are white......except maybe where a chain retailer/dealer uses a primary colour for their store front or sheds.

My town has a lot of colourful characters in it.......I don't want a boring place !

So the older concrete style one.......okay, what does everyone else think ?

I love this layout. It's so different beign mostly white. I find it so beautiful and peaceful, with all those one-floor buildings. Charming.

I vote concrete too, it will add some nice contrast IMO, although I guess you've already begun to build it.

Can't wait to see the final result, good luck.

I'm liking the new roof, it looks like it fits in with the rest of the street better than the previous version. The two grilles to break up the walls are a nice touch, looking forward to more :classic:

Thanks 'criga88' and 'Gongoro73' for your kind words.

I chose the new frontage based around an old Coles store frontages from the 1950's......many of these still are around being used as chemists, etc.,.

No, I haven't started the silo yet, but I will soon......looks like it's concrete and a huge cash investment into it.

Keep watching !

I've decided to make a special roof section similar to the one on the bank to give the pub a better realistic look. Once I have that and the Stobie poles done that will be it until after the Toy Corner mini-show......then more changes for 2015 (any suggestions for you might like to see post them).......keep watching ! :classic:

I recalculated tonight that my Stobie poles are a little too high so I'm going to redesign them tonight......oh, yeah I might be planning more shops for the main street after November's TC show so totally keep watching !
