Milan Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Hey all! New MOC - 1:3 Scale Kids Tricycle. Made to promote my free 50 page book about Brick-Built LEGO Wheels, which will be online in three days, on May 22nd. Inspiration: MOC: Pretty big, but somewhat fragile model, made for events. It can be pushed and steered, The weakest part is 2x2 turntable plate that connects the handlebar and frame. Everything is angled and sloped. The Book I will present this free book in a three days, and there will be specifications, instructions, notes and customization sections for each of the seven wheels, like the front wheel on the bike. Subscribe to my YT channel to get notified and download it for free! Tricycle video: http://www.youtube.c...w&feature=share Quote
Tommy Styrvoky Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 How strong are the wheels (if you go over a bump will they disinigrate)? Quote
Sariel Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 Nice idea with the free booklet. I only wish these rubber axle joiners were cheaper ;) Quote
Milan Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 Nice idea with the free booklet. I only wish these rubber axle joiners were cheaper ;) Thank you. They are optional, for look and grip. The wheels works perfectly without them. How strong are the wheels (if you go over a bump will they disinigrate)? On video tutorials that will be done in three days, wheels can hold 3Kg on the axle input, maybe more, my finger was hurt by axle. The wheel on the trike is the thinnest (20mm) test version. The seven wheels described in the book are all fully braced and strong. Quote
emilstorm Posted May 19, 2014 Posted May 19, 2014 That's a sweet ride! Interesting idea for a book, will definedly have a closer look later. Quote
