The guild was hired to escort a merchant, but it seems the quest changed dramatically. According to Azshara's report, rather than meeting a merchant, she found the remains of several warriors. Shortly afterwards, she was attacked by Molthak the Ancient, King of Worms. While the beast was not slain, she managed to repel the beast and report in. - Kain Talon, Guildmaster About Molthak the Ancient - Molthak is an ancient worm that is covered in the trappings of old battles. Netting and chains from those who tried to climb the beast are around the beast. This monster is very intelligent and has even donned the skulls of fallen hunters.
