I am planning to buy the fairground mixer and I am probably going to motorize it. I have this part in my collection already;

and I wanted to know if it could connect to this motor.

You can with one of the Power Functions extension wires, which include an adapter at one end for the old style electrical connectors.

) at roughly 6:45, he explains how to attach the PF motor, which the model accompanies for by adding in some pieces and its arrangement.
