Started on a new large scale build a few days ago based on a Imperial scout ship off the MMO SWG. My YT-1300 needs an Imperial rival to harass it in the shipping lanes. The sacrifice of a boxed up UCS ISD will be worth it.

Estimating the scale.

Very impressive build so far. Never really have played SWG before, and never knew that this ship existed in the SW Universe until now. Keep up with the good build, and May the force be with you.

Can't wait to see the final build.

Thanks, I tend to lean towards the lesser known ships of the SW universe. From what I have seen online, there has only been one other Decimator built before this.

I really like that ship, and I hope you will make it great!

I once made a starship inspired by that ship once too. As in the end it did not look like it, I've wanted to make a proper one ever since.

From the looks of it, the canopy in the front looks very much out of proportion. You might want to change that to the one of the UCS Tie advanced or even a brickbuild version.

Thank you! I wanted to try my hand at building something that was close to one or two colors. Aside from the YT, the only "large" ship I have is a multi-colored hippy Lady Luck that I had made many years ago in a big need of a overhaul. Everything else are fighters.

The front window I was not planning to use. I just pulled that off TIE to have an idea where the canopy would be. Aside from the one room, everything else is a 15 minute layout to have a idea of the angles. I was thinking of trying a brickbuilt version. If that did not work, one from an older model TIE might work. But now that you mentioned the UCS, that might be better.

Yea, I want to go all out with this.

The wings look the wrong shape, so far yours are sloped all the way down, the ones on the picture are straight and taper at the front.

Also that thing is going to be huge *oh2*.

Lol, they are actually the top panels of the ISD with a corner taken off. I was very lazy, but it will be fixed :D

It will be big, but the better part is this will be more achievable than my last big ship designs. Going to get hot on it over the weekend!

An update. Strengthened the bottom, added a cargo hold under the middle room, and put landing gear on it. Those might be too high... but I have a stable ship to work on now. Also reorganized my room to get more floor space.

I also sacrificed the yacht.

Looks stunning!

A really big, big ship you build!

Doesn`t know the VT-49 Decimator but think your version is very good and looks similar the original.
