This is the beginning of my space armada. A carrier for these ships is in the works, but as of yet unfinished.

This is the bomber. It is based on the B-17 from WWII.

This is the space superiority fighter. In part based on the A-wing from Star Wars and the Viper Mk II from Battlestar Galactica.

And this is the gunship. Based in part on the Apache and Comanche helicopters.

AWESOME creations 'DanishRoots', my favourites would have to be either the bomber or twin seater gunship....which you could call a fighter-bomber.

Thanks guys/girls :)

@lightningtiger: The gunship is actually more of a close-air-support ship... I'm gonna do a dropship for marines, probably based on the Osprey, before I do the carrier, just to figure out how everything is gonna fit... I actually think I might do a fighter/torpedo bomber for capital ship combat... Probably based on the RAF Mosquito...

@Only Sinner: I dig the retro-feel as well... I really like trying to update designs of yore in order to come up with something new...

As for the carrier itself: I'm gonna design it, so it combines the carrier/troop transport-feel of an LHD-ship with the warship feel of a cruiser. But expect a lot of weird dimensions. After all, gravity plating allows for perpendicular construction of decks :)
