kinggregus Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 Hello Everyone, I would like to make some customs transparent stickers that would eventually fit a 1x4x3 frame. I was wondering if any of you had experience making such stickers? As I do not have a printer, I would ideally like to use the service of a third party. Have you used the services of a company that does this? When looking on the internet, it seems a lot of companies require an absurd minimum quantity. In the end, I would not need to order a huge amount. Thank you very much, Quote
emilstorm Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 I have done this for some torso stickers. I went to a print shop around the corner, those will often do just one sheet for you. Quality was excellent, and I think that is standard nowadays. Just beware if you want to print something white, if you use windows paint or the likes to design it, it will come out transparent :) Quote
JopieK Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 We do :) (search "blinds" for examples on our site). We don't let you buy absurd quantities of course. (we also have other transparent stickers in virtually all colors, some colors need a white backing for better results, darker inks will not shine through). We most often print two layers of white to get the desired density for blinds / train numbers etc on both transparent LEGO and normal bricks. Quote
emilstorm Posted May 7, 2014 Posted May 7, 2014 @JopieK, great website you have, I haven't seen it before. I will keep you in mind next time I need stickers. It looks like you know what you are doing, those print shop guys looked at me a little funny when started pulling out minifigs and bricks to check if sizes matched:) Quote
