Part question.

Is there a lego piece that is like the neck of a standard minifigure torso but longer. Basically an extended stud?

I'm asking cause I want to make an armor stand and I know that minifig helmets can attach to a minifigure neck by themselves.

A technic pin would work but connecting it to a minifig helmet is not a legitimate connection. And the stand I'm making is going to be part of a lego ideas project.

The technic half pin (#4274) and the flick-fire missile (#61184) both end with a "legitimate" stud. The half pin can also mate with (by slipping over) a light saber blade or other bar element at the "technic" end for compatibility with clips, mini-figure hands, and hollow stud connections (the flick fire missile already has a "bar" end built in). TLG must consider these valid connections as they've been used in kits in recent years for wizard staves and other such sub-assemblies.

Both end with a legitimate stud but both also don't allow armor to go past that stud. The Piece I'm thinking of needs to allow armor to slide through it and allow the stud connection on top to let the helmet attach. The only thing close to that is the neck of a standard minifigure torso. but the neck isn't long enough.

Something akin to this piece made by Nachapon is what I'm thinking of(The red parts)

How about one of these https://www.bricklin...mPic.asp?P=3957, then slide a half pin over, stud up to hold the armor, then one more half pin to hold the helmet?

The Lego Friends Karate Studio has a Karate Helmet that has a "Stand" You might go look at how they did that.
