Scania R 730 Topline Model team

We on Doktor Brick have a small community project to make a tribute to Bricksonwheels. So we made a Scania R730 chassis with flatbed.

its features are a XL for drive and two Servos for steering. the second servo is for the last axle which can steered and lifted remote controlled. the drivetrain has a compact two speed gearbox. The interior of the cab and the cargo Box are still missing and can done by everyone who want.

thanks to catweazle now we have an instruction for it in two versions.

in version one the cab will built on the chassis, and in version two the cab will built seperately. and we have some digital files for LDD and MLcad (1 and 2)

Yes you are right, it is a wonderful MOC. Today I studied the instruction is a miracle and realized that it would build a pretty rough slozhno.Tam 5000 atoms even 6000 parts. Of course I could be wrong.

So I made a mistake and quite strongly.

But even though it is necessary to finish the cabin itself :) And then I think will take another 700 items.

I wanted to ask, why the suspension on the rear axle when the last axle is lowered? After all, it will be assigned a load that will not work correctly dampers.

this was the decission of catweazle. if you look the ldd file, which was the base of the instruction, you will see that there are no dampers. the actuator presses the drive axle down and the last axle upward.

great truck :thumbup: The part list features 1 XL, 1 M and 3 Servos.... could you please describe the purpose of each of these motors (well, the XL and 1 Servo is obvious ;-)

1 XL is for drive, one servo to steer the front axle, one servo for the last axle, one servo for shifting and the M motor is for lifting the last axle.

a video is actually impossible, because this is still a virtuall project. only the the gearbox was built to be sure that it works.

I will absolutely build it, the question is just when? I have a lot of trucks I have to build before it :(
