legotexnix Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Hey guys! Today i want to present you my first MOC: A Piaggio Ape It has two motors: 1x L for drive and 1x M for steering I do not like the colour very much, but yellow is the only colour i have enough panels. Edit: So i changed the colour of the cargo area and i like the result much more :) The model uses the big battery box, hidden in "chassis": It is an integral part of the chassis which is good for the look but bad for playibilaty. The batteries only can be changed by dismounting the whole front including the steering. Edited April 28, 2014 by legotexnix Quote
grum64 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) Very nice. You've captured its character really well. Personally, I like the colour but it might be more 'acceptable' to you with a few simple additions... Edited April 28, 2014 by grum64 Quote
piterx Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 lovely :) i had in mind to build one as well but i always had something else to do Quote

Hrafn Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Nicely done! An iconic vehicle that I don't think I've ever seen done in Technic before. Yellow actually seems fitting since the vehicle is named "bee." Quote

Hrafn Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 You've never seen Nico71's Piaggio APE? Nope, thanks for letting me know about it - somehow I'd missed that one on his site. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 This is so cute! I'm glad you changed the back tray to grey, balances the whole design nicely. Great job. Quote
Lakop Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 The grey cargo area has made it better. That's a really good build. H Quote
