Cube1701 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I've been out of the LEGO loop for a while, but started collecting again recently, which means I've discovered many wonderful new parts. One thing I'm curious about is the rubber parts. When did they start doing this? I'm also curious as to why some extremely specific parts are still hard plastic. For example, in 79003 An Unexpected Gathering, Bombur's hair/beard/stomach piece is hard plastic, while Bofur's hat is rubber. Why is it like this, rather than having both parts be rubber? Quote
