nickjan Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) This is an overview of the minifigs that will make up my roman army, that is being raised. As it stands now, it has enlisted centurions, praetorians an optio and an emperor, accompanied by some legionairs. Here is a line up of the different member types. The standard bearers, horn blowers are in the making and the emperor and the praetorian guard's backs also need to be finished. The Army is assembled from series 10 collectible minifigure and brickwarrior accessories, hand/brush painted emperor and general centurion with brass cuirass legionair optio front; I intentionally gave it crooked paint to resemble old leather breastplate praetorian centurion with a metallic painted and goldwashed cuirass praetorian guardsmen; left with fully covering paint and the right one with two washes over a white surface praetorian legionair Edited April 18, 2014 by nickjan Quote
RoyalBrickCustoms Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Awesome figs man, and an even better paint job! :) Quote
Wardancer Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Looking good! I am looking forward to seeing your army. Good luck with that. An idea to save money could be to use different torsos for those cases when an armor completely covers the torso anyway. This way you can use the expensive torsos for figs which do really show the torso. Quote
