Green Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 When LEGO replaced the awful Star Wars planet series with the Micro-fighters, I was actually pleasantly surprised at how good they are. Not only do you get a good minifigure, the pieces of the model are great and even the model itself is designed great to accommodate the minifigure. So I thought, why couldn't we have this for Marvel and DC Superheroes? Behold the DC Superheroes Joker, Batman and Two-Face classic Micro-fighters! Here is the Joker in his ice cream van Micro-fighter. Very happy with the look of it. Here's Batman, Tumbler. Nothing too special here, Just edited the polybag design to fit in a minfigure. Here's Two-Face's van, I preferred the classic white and grey (Or grey and light-grey? I could never tell) to the new purple and orange. Here's some Marvel. I tried making some more, but I simply didn't have the pieces for the SHIELD van. I'll try and make something new soon. Nick Fury's flying car. Not overly happy with this one, but works well nonetheless. Aldrich Killian's boat. This was a bit of an easy one, but it does compliment the original size very well. Thanks for checking out my designs, and any feedback/ comments are always noted and appreciated. Green Quote
adotnamedstud Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 These are awesome, I want to see more! I wish LEGO made these... Quote
Oky Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Haha, very cool! I don't think the concept of microfighters works quite as well for Superheroes as it does for Star Wars and I don't think TLG would actually do this, but it sure makes for some very cute MOCs! I actually like your SHIELD hovercar better than mine, but if you're not happy with it, how about making a tiny Helicarrier for Fury? I hope to see more of these from you, such as a Quinjet for Black Widow, a car for Spider-Man, etc. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Wow those little cars are GREAT!!! The Thumbler is the one I like the most! Quote
Green Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Thanks so much for the great feedback everyone! I'm going to make some more today, hopefully they'll turn out as good as these ones! Any suggestions? Quote
just2good Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 This has to be the most adorable MOC I've seen in a while! Now I really want SH microfighters, and I'm a big fan of the SW ones already. Quote
htbomb Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Love the Joker. Batman looks a bit like he's riding in a go kart but I'd like to convert my Tumbler, too. Quote
Tom Jurassic Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 This is a really, really good idea. We may never get SH Battlepacks, but this could bridge that gap! Try a Mini Hydra Tank. ;) Quote
Captain America fan 1 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 You should switch the batman to the black one or the dark knight.Other than that they are phenomenal especially jokers. Quote
Only Sinner Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 These are so neat, I really hope to see a lot more! Quote
Green Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Thanks for the amazing feedback everyone! Inspiring me to do a lot more. Currently working on a Quinjet, Lex's Power Armour (Which is way more difficult that it sounds) and Spidey's helicopter. I might also try and make some non-superhero ones, I think I have some ideas. Thanks so much! Green Quote
Legoman123 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 I really hope Lego decides to make something like this. That way we could get a lot of new heroes and villains. Quote
Gooker1 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 That's absolutely killer!! Well done!! Hopefully the SW line of these sell well prompting them to expand it to SH Quote
SRT907 Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Very nice idea! Maybe you could work around just a little bit more on -let's say- 4 or 5 models and submit it on Cuusoo? I am sure you'll get lots of supporters! At least, count me in! Quote
