weavil Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 That is Nuts.... ....and being Nuts is neat! Absolutely rediculous. xD Those were my reactions too! But... -How long do the batteries last? -How much can it pull? -What is the maximum angle it can climb? Anyways very impresive!!! Quote
zux Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Thats interesting idea to use single arm+motor per wheel, but I didn't find how it is steering? I find ground clearance is about the same comparying to the other crawler with tyres of smaller size. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Monster! I sure hope there is a video coming! Quote
astakos Posted April 7, 2014 Author Posted April 7, 2014 How does it steer? like a tank ! Those were my reactions too! But... -How long do the batteries last? -How much can it pull? -What is the maximum angle it can climb? Anyways very impresive!!! i don't know the battery life, but i after many climbing test, they still work.. the pull test will come soon ! the climb angle depends only on the surface friction... it never tilt !! Thats interesting idea to use single arm+motor per wheel, but I didn't find how it is steering? I find ground clearance is about the same comparying to the other crawler with tyres of smaller size. no no.. the ground clearance is taller !!! Quote
astakos Posted April 8, 2014 Author Posted April 8, 2014 a small video that shows the climbing angle of the monster... i have discovered that a duvet is a good surface !! Quote
Captainowie Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 If I was the type of person who regularly didn't believe what people claim, I'd suggest that you set both your camera and the picture on your wall at an angle, and drove it along your bed! Quote
