How to fix bent visors?

I recently found all four old wheel pieces necessary to rebuild the 8360 Racers, but the racer's yellow helmet is bent, unfortunately. I wonder, is there any way I can straighten it to work again, such as using pliers?

Not sure you can because they're usually bent in one direction ( ) and I think the next step is Bricklink .

Not even if I squeeze it together for a while?

UPDATE: I've managed to squeeze it back in on itself and put it back to a normal shape. It has a weird line going across it though, but I can deal with that for now.
