I think this might be the right site for some specific help.

I create 1:6 scale military vehicles, figures and weapons as a hobby.

I have just started a WWI Stokes Mortar.

Next stage is to make a couple of simple mechanisms that will make it traverse slightly and also

elevate slightly.

I think there may be some Technics worm gears that might help me achieve this?

Any advice as to what to use will b very much appreciated,
