A while ago, I found my old Classic Space sets on my parents attic. Very fond memories of the late 1970s that brought back!

Sadly, my sets aren't complete, with some key pieces missing. So once back home, I set out to design refreshed versions in LDD. Starting of course with the epic Galaxy Explore (928 / 497), and then the slightly smaller Space Cruiser.

Wrong part of the forum (this goes in Sci-Fi (which is showtopic=23)), but nice MOCs nevertheless. I particularly enjoy how you kept the opening function. Could you please try a recolor of this in the Classic Space colors?

I agree that this might get more attention/support if it was in the classic blue and grey... but (as I mentioned in the reboot thread) this isn't that far off from the Star Fleet Voyager colour scheme... I think a few tweaks with that in mind might look awesome.

I also mentioned this in the other thread, but that spoiler looks off to me. Awesome design, though.

Okay, you're right actually, looks so cool in the original Classic Space colour scheme: https://flic.kr/ps/2RzMiR
