Legoman123 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) I'm very curious to see what other people's opinions are of this. I'll kick it off with my best and worst. I think the worst Hogwarts has got to be 4757 (the second variation of the castle). I really did feel it was lacking detail and was just not big enough. My personal favourite though has got to be the most recent Hogwarts. The minifigures are fantastic, the exterior and interior detail is amazing and it's just full of features from most of the movies. Now you've heard form me, what are your thoughts guys? Edited March 25, 2014 by Legoman123 Quote
Ultron Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'd have to agree with you on both accounts. I loved getting the first castle for my 7th birthday or whatever it was. It was awesome back then. I mean in todays standards it looks like crap, but it was well designed back then and did it's job. The castle from PoA was cool when I got that too, but looking back on it, it was poorly designed. It's very bland. The exterior looked nice but there wasn't much too it. Could've been a lot better. I still have it now after I rebuilt it a few years ago. The new one is awesome and really detailed. Not a fan of the tiny little common rooms, but other than that it's got great little features here and there. Quote
Cult_Of_Skaro Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 My favorite is the 2011, and my least favorite is the first one. I really like the second one, it does a great job of depicting the most prominent building in the third movie. Quote
Omega 8 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 IMO the most recent is the best and the first is the worst. I think they got progressively better, year to year. Quote
