Does anyone else use the short transparent rods you get in allot of the minifig collectible series? The ones that are used as laser beams on the spacemen/woman evil robot and alien figs for example. I used these on my Yoda and Darth maul minifigs to make their lightsabers look a little more their size becuase Yodas lightsaber looks a little to big with the standard rod and Darth mauls double saber is so long you can't do much with him and it makes him difficult to display along side other minifigs if your a bit lacking in space.

I don't have any pictures but I used a scalpel blade and slowly run the blade over, I used a little bit of fine grit sandpaper to rub it smooth, it doesn't look perfect, but you can put the rough end in the lightsabre handle.
