Hi all,

I've been working with LDD for awhile now however there is a function I've looked for but can't seem to find. I assume it doesn't exist however I figured I may be missing something so I'd ask.

Is there a way to get a list of bricks used in a project in LDD? I use it primarily to design my own pieces, however making them in actual bricks is tough because once finished it is nearly impossible to find out what bricks are necessary short of going through every single page of the building guide and noting the pieces.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Cheers,

GM.

You simply have to create the HTML instructions, that contains the BOM (Bill Of Materials)

Maybe in the latest versions of LDD some other method has been added.

If you need to have the list in order to buy bricks on bricklink, you can use LDD Manager software.

Under the leftmost menu bar pull down list, "FILE", select 'export BOM', works best in regular LDD mode, you get an Excel file, which I then convert to a .csv file for ease of use.
