The beast head works really well as a turtle head. Its the prefect shape. Too bad it doesn't come in green(yet, but probably won't unless Lego utilizes the part later for something else). Very clever usage of that head. :D The shell looks a little off but I guess since it's a space snapper that's supposed to look more like a flying saucer?

Agreed. On the other hand, it actually looks like a turtle, not some deformed Gamera-esque abomination. As with all turtles I would not like to meet this one when it's angry. Seriously, I wouldn't be half surprised if normal snapper turtles could bite through quite thick pieces of metal.

I agree about the shell but used the pieces I had on hand. Maybe once I get some of my other projects finished, I will work on a more realistic shell.
