Starwars4J Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Well Nightwing is the grown up version of the first Robin. However this doesn't really have much to do with the sets...but I'll leave it open for now Quote
iamded Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 I remember on Teen Titans when Starfire goes into the future, and Robin has become... NIGHTWING!! Cartoons ON! Quote
Brainbox Posted May 27, 2007 Posted May 27, 2007 Well Nightwing is the grown up version of the first Robin. Dick Grayson. He first operated in Gotham, then moved to Bludhaven, then back to Gotham after the 'War Games,' then finished up in New York. He founded the first generation of the Teen Titans, then the newest Outsiders with Arsenal. He has an on/off relationship with Barbera Gordon (Oracle), and holds a bit of a torch for Starfire. Interestingly, Nightwing is also a name associated with the Bottle City of Kandor: he was an urban legend/vigilante in Kandor (Superman suggested the name to Dick), and Power Girl recently took the name on a trip there. 'Nightwing' has also been used briefly by Jason Todd after his return from the dead, but he is now back to using 'Red Hood,' and the name 'Nite-Wing' was used by Tad Ryerstad, a vigilante who Nightwing agreed to train until he realised how violent he was. After killing someone, he is incarcerated by Nightwing. Hope that helps. ;-) Quote

Hope that helps. ;-) Actually, the time line is a little off - Grayson did first operate in Gotham, then he moved to New York and worked with the Titans and changed superhero personas (Where he established a long-term monogamous relationship with Starfire), then he moved to Bludhaven where he started his solo career (and must've started his Viagra regimen), as shortly thereafter he began a four issue bedding of the Huntress which seems to have been forgotten. Also, he married a socialite named Miggy. It was during his time in Bludhaven that Grayson also began his realtionship with Barbara Gordon and is now, I believe seeing some white bread librarian named Deb. (8 issues so far!) Unless you read and believe Nightwing Annual 2. LOL. Then you'll believe anything anybody tells you. Edited September 26, 2008 by randydisherproject Quote
Pencoin Posted September 26, 2008 Posted September 26, 2008 Well the question is answered, so we need a new point of the topic. Did/would you change Dick's spikey hair for the first robin hair? (not the new Mutt hair). I will when I get him . Quote
