Sariel Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 So, I wanted to start the season by testing that unique old Technic propeller, and my boat ended up capsizing: Pics, and some info about the pieces I've used: http://sariel.pl/2014/03/catamaran/ Quote
jodawill Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 That's so awesome! I love it! It's too bad the boat fell over. I'm guessing it did some damage to the equipment, eh? I hope you make some more in the future. I'd love to see what else you come up with. Quote
D3K Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Never mind about the GoPro, how did the RC components fare? Nice performing boat though, I think the main problem might be the VCG is too high compared to the centre of flotation, even for a twin hull boat Quote
unimog123 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Cool! Hope the RC components are still usable. Do you think in the near future you would consider making a light weight maybe panel-made body? Quote
Sariel Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 The RC components will probably keep working until rust damages them. I don't think a boat made of panels would swim well. It would probably turn out heavier than the ready-made hulls. No, I think I'll try an airboat next. Quote
