I am wondering about something. I saw a documentary in the Clone Wars Special Features and it showed some movie clips. One showed Yoda fighting those of the 501st. Where can one access these deleted deleted scenes?

P.S.: I call em' deleted deleted scenes because the were first deleted from the film, then deleted from the deleted scenes section.

Are you taling about the scene in which Yoda and Obi Wan go to the Jedi temple after Order 66 and Yoda throws his lightsaber at the clone trooper?

That's what I presumed at least. So yeah, I'm also going to point out that this scene is in the film. Not sure why it needed three people though. :-D

No, I must say that it is not in the DVD version of RotS that I have. So I don't know whether it only released in certain countries. *wacko* And no matter what you think, and no matter how many times I watch the movie, it isn't in there. :-|

Well, what country are you in? It seems odd that they would remove a scene of virtual neutrality in just one country, or even a few select countries. I've never heard this claim before *wacko* Do you have the scene DIRECTLY after it, where Obiwan and yoda find out that anikan is Vader? It's fairly integral to the plot...

Yeah, I have the DVD too and I also didn't find such a scene! |-/

Hang on. Are we sure we're all talking about the same scene here. I can't think what else it could be, but maybe trooperdavinfelth is talking about one scene, and we're all talking about another. But like I said, I can't think what other scene it could be.

Actually, if you look here he's talking about the one we're all talking about, as that's what's in the tribute. It was in the DVD. And the theatres. I have no clue why he hasn't seen it *wacko*

And for the record, I maintain that *yoda* was holding the lightsaber inside the clone trooper, and not that they messed up the physics in that scene :-P

I was thinking that maybe because the handle of the lightsaber is slightly wider then the blade, it got caught on the clone trooper, and didn't go all the way through. :-/

Did they ever complete the scene with Yoda pretending to be a wacky animal playing in the mud to ditch the troopers?

How about the scene with young Han Solo playing around on Wookie world?

Or how about the Mon Calamari (up-close) swimming/dancing scenes seen in early press releases?

::doesn't have the DVD::

They had some dancers at the opera where Anakin talks to Palpatine. I'm not sure if we saw them up close.

Yes, we say the Mon Cal scene.

Actually one scene I was expecting that didn't happen was Wookiees (including Chewbacca) being herded into a slave-transport ship by Clone Troopers, thus setting up the Han Solo trilogy of books. I did read about this scene.

I bought an individual movie which had a single movie DVD and a bonus content DVD. That's all I have. When you say a "two disc" set, do you mean two movie discs, or what I have? Ummm, those are some interesting scenes, JINZONINGEN. Where did you see these or hear of them? I am in US, btw. Interesting, most interesting...

The boyhood Solo and wacky Yoda scenes were in the initial script that got leaked to the internet weeks before the movie came out.

The Mon Calamari scene had super up-close images of their females, as seen in (again) leaked images from the movie prior to it's release.

I think there were a few other odd (and stupid) things, but it was so long ago...

One rumour that I read sometime before Ep 3 was released I think is worth repeating here. Although obviously it was just a rumour, its a very good one that certainly piqued my interest. Lets assume none of us have seen Ep 3.

How Anakin finally falls.

Building on the three-person Lightsaber fights of Episodes 1 and 2, episode 3 will feature a five-person lightsaber fight!

Obi-Wan, Mace and Anakin confront Palpatine, having discovered that he's the Sith. Darth Tyranus is brought out by Palpy, who taunts the Jedi, particularly Anakin. There ensues an almighty Lightsaber battle (easily the best of the six films). Throughtout it all, Palpy goads Anakin, who is already skirting close to the Dark Side. Mace and Obi Wan try to keep Anakin in check. Eventually, Anakin gets through Tyranus' defences and cuts him in anger. Thats it - eyes go red. He then joins with Palpy against Mace and Obi Wan. He strikes Mace down. Obi Wan only just barely survives by kicking Anakin inthe lava pit.

That would have been awesome! *sweet*

I have a quick question: The two trilogy editions for 4, 5, and 6: The Gold has the digi remastered special extended edition, and so does the Silver. The Gold has the original 3 on one DVD. The Silver has a bonus disc with documentaries and bonus footage. The Gold is all in Full Screen. The Silver is all in Wide Screen. What of this is true, and what isn't? Am trying to decide what to get, and the question is on the edge of a knife. Widescreen or Fullscreen: I want Widescreen. :-/

My Limited Edition (Gold) `06 DVD version is in 16:9 Widescreen and in 4:3 Letterbox for

the "original theatrical" bonus films.

More infos here.... :-)
