sithewok Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Guess this is where I should post first. Greetings from a newborn AFOL. Oddly enough, I never owned a Lego brick until the ripe old age of 40. Cliché as I imagine it is, The Lego Movie brought me in. I loved the movie and initially thought I could get away with only purchasing one or two little sets for my desk, but I'm sure you all know how that went. Once I found out that there was a Shakespeare minifigure, (I am a writer, so I definitely needed him...) I ended up getting sucked into the CMF black hole as well. Fast forward a few weeks and here I sit with several City sets, a couple superhero sets, a couple Star Wars sets, and a bunch of minifigures in my collection with my first modular building (cinema) on the way from Lego shop at home. I think it's fair to say I'm addicted. Quote
Freddy Bricker Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) Welcome to Eurobricks, where a Lego addiction is anything but weird! Edited March 8, 2014 by Freddy Bricker Quote
Anathaema Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Heheheh, welcome aboard! We're never too young or too old for LEGO. Quote
Andy D Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 You can never have just one! Welcome to he slippery slope. Watch out for those modulars, they seem to multiply. Andy D Quote
sithewok Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Thanks so much for all of the welcomes! Great community, here. I think I chose wisely as to which Lego community to join. Quote
