So I've been getting back into Lego, and I keep seeing these forums linked to elsewhere. I thought I'd give them a try. Without further ado, here is my fleet of UFO-style MOC ships that I first built over a decade ago (but recently pulled them out of my parents' attic and repaired): http://imgur.com/a/hRncf

As a kid, I had an elaborate fictional universe that nearly all of my MOCs were a part of. I had a lot of spaceships from the Space Police II, Blacktron II, Ice Planet, etc., era. I got most of the UFO sets a little later and was thrilled by how many large starships they had (although I understand now that some people give that theme flack for the use of extremely large pieces, I really liked it as a kid). But like everything that I got, I eventually discarded Lego's story line, such as it was, and made them part of my own story line and the "Imperial fleet." Since it didn't make sense to me that my fleet would have all unique vessels, I decided to build twin cruisers out of the Alien Avenger, Warp Wing Fighter and Intersteller Starfighter sets. I used the leftover large plates to build the light cruiser.

I noticed a lot of people don't use imgur here. Is my link ok? I tried to upload the pictures but it seemed like I could only upload 1 mb of photos, which is only 2 pictures. Please don't hesitate to let me know if there was a better way for me upload something like this.

Hi Raskolnikov, and welcome to Eurobricks! Why not introduce yourself in the Welcome Section of the site?

These are some great looking ships. They really look like they form a unified fleet! The use of Forestman caps is really distinctive, too - it makes the whole thing seem set apart into its own sci-fi world. Very cool!

The AFOL community has a lot of infrastructure set up on flickr, which is why many people here use it for image hosting. Imgur is fine,I could see all seven pictures right away.

UFO was when my interest in space began to wane, but these look pretty good. I like how all the ships have a common aesthetic, and how sleek and sturdy they look (compared to the official UFO sets).
