Wyvern Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Hi guys, I am wondering this for quite sometime. Does anyone of you knows the building instructions for those alternate models indicated behind your lego boxes...? Some of these models are nice design, and would like to get a spare set to try it out, but there isn't any instructions to it.. I am not high level yet to know the steps. Anyone also facing the same problem too....? :) Mods: If there is already a similar topic, please merge or delete this thread... Thanks..:) Quote
hewkii9 Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 LEGO doesnt make instructions for them, but you might try under My Own Instructions on Brickshelf. I've seen alternate model instructions there. Quote
Trionx Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 I would suggest (if you can't find the instructions) to try to build small alternate models, (like the 7250 Clone Scout Walker, I managed to build the model for that.) and another way to get good practice could be to get some creator sets, those a designed for people to build without instructions. On another note, what set are you trying to make the alternate model on? Quote
Wyvern Posted May 7, 2007 Author Posted May 7, 2007 Thanks alot guys for the replies... :) Actually, I saw the Mecha on the back of the box for Slave 1 and it really seems nice. But I am rather lost without the instruction... Guess I must explore more on myself... ;) I would suggest (if you can't find the instructions) to try to build small alternate models, (like the 7250 Clone Scout Walker, I managed to build the model for that.) and another way to get good practice could be to get some creator sets, those a designed for people to build without instructions. Shadows Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Occasionally, LEGO does actually supply alternate building instructions, though I don't see any for Slave I. If you go to the product page for the set you're interested in rebuilding, you may find a link to alternates (usually not, but it can't hurt to look). For example: The page to set 6211-1 Imperial Star Destroyer includes instructions for both the Outrider and a T-16 Skyhopper (UCS Scale, I guess). You'll need to be able to handle pdfs, but you probably can already. You can also find building instructions at the Building Instructions Mini Site also at LEGO.com. Good luck! Quote
