What does everyone think of Spiderman 3?

I went to see it yesterday and I would give it 7 or 8 out of 10.

I think they tried to put too much into the film, too many new charactors and some didn't even go any where.

Also there was hardly enough action. For a film that is one of the most expensive films ever made you think you would see Cars being thrown around and huge buildings caving in, not just a few windows.

finally i really thought that there was too much talking in the entire film! |-/

But apart from that it was quite good! *y*

I went yesterday as well. It was good, but I don't think it was brilliant. There wasn't quite enough action, and there probably was too much talking, but I loved the comic homages. The belltower especially. That said however, the CGI was good, with Sandman looking really impressive. There were perhaps too many characters to do something great with, and the comedy, while good, was a bit overblown in parts. TRoo much of a good thing and all that.

To sum up, it wasn't a bad film, but I don't think it was as bad as the second one.

Actually, there was a rather negative review in The Sunday Times magazine today. Which was ironic, considering there was an advert for the film a couple of pages earlier! :-D

Maybe they couldn't decide which one to put into the movie besides Venom, I think. X-D

lol. No. They just decided to put a lot into it, seeming as it's the last film probably. I think it was really good, I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

I haven't seen the third one yet, but everyone I know who has seen it reckons it's not as good as the first two, and a bit dull. I hope to see it sometime in the next week myself.

Well, one thing's for sure : Sam Raimi isn't afraid of anything... I mean, what the heck was that immensely ridiculous and useless scen withe that dancing dark peter in the streets?

otherwiseit wasn't soo bad, but there was far too much inconsistencies in the story... which isn't really surprising, considering how much they wanted to put in it...

I hope it will finally make people at the top in hollywood understand that more than one bad guy in a comic adaptation movie doesn't make it better (Batman & Robin anyone?). It inevitably makes one of them, if not all, completely dull and empty.

That article just reminded me: It was good to hear the classic theme-tune being played by the band at the parade. Great in-joke. The same also happened in the second film, played by the street musician.

I hated this part. I hated it when he looks out the windom with that weird look on his face.

But overall the movie was good. Battles rocked, though the emo scenes were messed up. By the way, you posted this the same day I went to watch this movie.

8/10 for the movie.
