jonty14 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Hi everyone. I have just bought the above set for 49 euros at a German supermarket. Is that a good price? This is the first time I have ever seen lego farm stuff. Best regards Jonathan Quote
meyerc13 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 That product collection has been discontinued for almost 3 years now, so I'm very surprised you found it at a retail store. I'm not sure what the MSRP was in Europe, but in the US the three sets that make up that collection retailed for about $65, so I think that would have been a good price 3 years ago, even moreso now that those sets are so hard to find. City Farm was one of the first City subthemes that interested my daughter (the next was the Marina), it is a real shame LEGO hasn't put out another tractor since. That subtheme had universal appeal for both boys and girls. Quote
jonty14 Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 The supermarket I was in had a few of them. It had quite a lot of old stuff. As you say it is a shame that farm stuff hasn't been developed more. Lots of potential there. Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Calculating euros to aud.....hmm, it's not bad price for those three sets together, super packs are rare in Oz.....only TRU usually has them. If they come down further.....buy them up. Quote
arator Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 (edited) Can I have the name of the town and the name of the supermarket. Maybe it's not that from me... Edited March 4, 2014 by arator Quote
jonty14 Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 Hi arrator. It is the "Real" supermarket in Singen in south west Germany on the Swiss border. Quote
