WetWired Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 After my success with having both my Tumbler and Ghostbusters reach 10000 votes on CUUSOO I took it as a bit of a challenge, does my favourite, original creation of my own have what it takes to compete with licensed IPs. ALA-N Exploring by Brent Waller, on Flickr More Pics on the Flickr Set HERE This project has been on CUUSOO for a while but it's hidden off the first page of my profile and is languishing, I feel it's some of my best work so I've created a video to help promote it. Here's the link for the video on YouTube CUUSOO Project Link Quote
brickie Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I feel it's some of my best work so I've created a video to help promote it. I believe that this is fantastic. Having lived through the excitement of that day in 1969 when Armstrong walked on the moon, this MOC captures the blurry images that we saw on our B&W televisions and our B&W newspaper photos. Whilst I have no affinity for bionicles or hero factories, this model is different in that it represents something that is real. A brilliant build and I would urge all Eurobrick members to support it on Cussoo. Quote
DPrime Posted February 25, 2014 Posted February 25, 2014 This is cool, but looks a bit too much like an actual astronaut... I would LOVE to see it in a Classic Space scheme, maybe piloted even? You've already got the logo, I see. :) Quote
B Rick Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 I've just stumbled upon this while waiting for approval on cuusoo. I think it's a beautiful design. Well articulated pose of a proud astronaut. The spacelogo is a nice touch and it wouldn't be complete without it... Quote
WetWired Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 Thanks, it's pretty hidden away in the bowels of CUUSOO :) Quote
