krono111 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 (edited) Hey I came trough my (short) dark ages a few weeks ago. Well first I want to tell you something about my dark ages. I liked LEGO®, but than I discovered Minecraft So one year I played this amazing game. But after I finished to play it my dark ages weren't over, because I thought LEGO® is just a toy. So then a friend of me told me that he made a amazing city. First, I thought he was just joking, but it was a really amazing city, built from him! That got me out of my dark ages. (I'm in the moment a TFOL) Now to my MOCs. (I've made this to one thread because the first two MOCs aren't that good ^^) First of all I've built this: Well and than this, to practice some rock work: Next I wanted to practice more rockworking and tryed a suggestion that someone gave me out. I've rebuilt it two times and every time it got better :) "Everything ok down there?" "Yeah, I just fell on my head!" I wanted to add Gollum down there, but I didn't found the set in my Lego store and here Details I would really appreciate it when you give me feedback and critic! Last but not least I would like to give some suggestions to make Lego medieval houses (In the pinned thread I just saw the roof guide, nothing else) because I would to do some in the next time. You could also link me to some guides (I already read the "medieval village guide", but I will read it some other times because I can learn very much, but I don't like that 1x1 round brick technique that much) Bye and thanks for reading, hope you enjoy it krono111 PS: I would like to know what that subforum "Guilds of Historica" exactly is. Floundie Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Hey krono111! Fellow TFOL here. First, I'd just like to warn you that your images are quite huge, you might want to scale them down a bit. That being said, I really like what you've done there with the rockwork. It's a great start! Here's a page with lots of handy techniques. Not all of the links work, but I'm sure you'll find something useful there. And if you'd like, you can introduce yourself properly in this forum. I hope you enjoy your time with us here at EB! Quote
