AlmightyArjen Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 My girlfriend was away for a day so I called a friend of mine: Me: "Girlfiend's out: lego trains?" He: "Cool!" At least, it went something like that! We decided to move some furniture out of the living room and install a huge layout with all the lego (train) sets I have. It was quite fun, we had some problems with the bridge: the trains came down to fast but we solved it and everything ran pretty smooth. I hope you'll enjoy the video :) Quote
JGW3000 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Love the train-cam and joy-riding mini-fig Quote
jtr Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 cool, looks like fun. like the bridge. wish i had mates that are interested building Lego trains Quote
dr_spock Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Fun video. You seem to have some problem with lights? Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 Yeah, lights, pff... I had this big 400W construction lamp that I normally use when shooting a video. Otherwise there's too less light in the room and the image becomes all fuzzy. But the construction lamp failed so I decided to use a just newly received LED strip that I had ordered for a walk-in closet in the bedroom. But it turns out that the shitty thing didn't work very well: it was flickering constantly. But that was the only thing I had. Seeing the video's afterwards it could have been done without it though... Quote
LEGO Guy Bri Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 Awesome layout AA! I see two 9V regulators, assumed running 2 separate lines(?). Are all those trains 9V, or are some PF? If so, how many are of each Quote
Ashi Valkoinen Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 (edited) I was afraid, tha metroliner and horizon will crash. At 0:45, they did. :) However, great layout. :) Edited February 20, 2014 by Ashi Valkoinen Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted February 20, 2014 Author Posted February 20, 2014 There were 4 seperate lines and regulaors. On the two longest tracks (bridge) were 3 trains in total, making a total of 5 trains running. More trains would need a longer layout :) Quote
BricksMcgee Posted February 21, 2014 Posted February 21, 2014 It was quite fun Understatement of the year, looks fantastic! ;) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I like this beautiful layout! The video is (as always) well made ...and find some 12 volts old set is a sweet surprise! ;-) Quote
