jorgeopesi Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Working on my MOC while I wait for my new pieces, ordered on 15 January , I thought something interesting. Stickers or pieces?, in my F40 build the lateral line and inlets with bricks increase its fragility and the number of pieces but make some stickers for those details would be nice, what do you think for your MOCs?. Example for the F40, build the front inlets and line with stickers not with liftarms. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 For me is pieces a lot better, everybody can see that this is a F40 Quote

piterx Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I think custom stickers add that little extra to mocs... Quote
Lipko Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Maybe just give stickers a try and see. Quote
Milan Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Stickers are fine for that final touch. They add realism and details to the moc. And I am purist. Quote
JopieK Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Great job on your F40! Looks really nice. In case you design your stickers in Illustrator or some other vector program and don't know where to print them, I can help you out with that (we have a vinyl printer / cutter). Quote
allanp Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I think even for a purist stickers are fine. Quote
Meatman Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 (edited) I think stickers are fine to an extent for effects, but I've seen some MOCs that have gone way overboard. Some of Lego's official models also use way too many stickers. I also don't like when stickers are used to create transitions or one sticker covers more than one part. Thank you for the help, first I have to know if I will use them . I think even for a purist stickers are fine. Me too.
